As a non-profit organization, MMC relies on contributions from the community – individuals and corporations – in addition to other sources of funding noted on our home page.  All funding sources enable the Midlands Mediation Center to offer low-cost mediation services to individuals, couples, and families who would not otherwise be able to afford legal fees and extended involvement in the courts.

Join us in this work by making a tax-deductible donation to the Midlands Mediation Center. We welcome contributions of any amount!

Thank you for your support.
Consider the difference a single donation can make. For example:
  • For any mediating party, whether community or family mediation client, a donation of $25.00 will cover one party’s cost of the administrative fee to coordinate a mediation at MMC.
  • On MMC sliding fee scale, a donation of $75 will cover one party making $9,999 or less, involved in a two-hour divorce mediation with mediation fee of $20/hr., plus $25 admin fee.
  • On MMC sliding fee scale, a donation of $150 will cover one party making $20,000-$29,999,  involved in a three-hour custody mediation, with mediation fee of $40/hr, plus $25 admin fee.
  • For a mediation trainee, a donation of $250.00 will cover the cost of a mediation training at MMC.

At MMC, a little bit goes a long way!

In 2016 we launched our Multi-Year Giving Society for donors who pledge gifts of $300, $600 or $1,200/year for three or five years.  It is an excellent option for those who recognize Midlands Mediation Center’s ongoing need to sponsor families’ mediations, and assure that people with low incomes will have a place to take care of important legal matters where mediation is required or most suitable.   Please contact Lee Morriss, Development Manager or Diane Frea, Executive Director to express your interest and arrange your individual giving preferences.

Special thanks to our 11 inaugural Multi-Year Giving Society Members.
