LaWandra Kelly is currently employed as Administrative Coordinator with the SC Department of Aging/Office of the State Long Term Care Ombudsman. Her passion for seniors and the disabled population is a great fit with this position that enables her to advocate for them on a daily basis.
She joined the MMC board in 2018. It aligns with her passion for giving back to her local community and it gives her the opportunity to support the many initiatives the Midlands Mediation Center currently offers.
LaWandra completed MMC’s Introduction to Mediation training course in 2016 and continues to hone her conflict resolution skills at home, work and in the community.
She graduated from Alcorn State University with a major in Political Science.
She is the mother of two children. In her spare time she enjoy’s traveling and being team mom for her son’s soccer and basketball teams.
